2008 (3rd) International Exhibition on Papermaking Chemicals

2007 Exhibition Review

The 2007 exhibition gathered more than 100 exhibitors from China, Europe, the United States, Japan and Korea. World well-known enterprises such as Hercules, Seiko PMC, Arakawa Chemical, Harima, Mitsubishi Chemical, Mitsui Chemical, Guangxi Mingyang and Nanjing Sixin attended the two exhibitions on succession. It was the first time for Corn Products, Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Nicca Chemical, Clariant, Asahi Glass, Meisei Chemical, Far East Chemical, PT Sinar Syno Kimia of Indonesia, China Haicheng, Shanghai Supply & Marketing, Shanghai Donsheng and Shenzhen Leveking to attend the exhibition and they all made careful arrangement and organization. Domestic and foreign well-known enterprises of dyestuffs and whitening agents such as Transfar, Nantong Lisi, Zhejiang Hongda, Shanxi Qingshan, Shandong Zhenhua, Tianjin Yadong, Shanghai Huiyou, Yanshi Taixue, Yantai Desteck and Jining Xinhui also brought the most frontier technologies and solutions to visitors.

Professional Visitor

The exhibition attracted 4258 visitors from 21 countries and over 500 of them came from overseas. Many paper mills and distributors specially came to the exhibition to make purchase or acquire product information. Examples included Ningbo Asia Pulp, China Paper, Jinfengyuan Paper, Ningxia China Metallurgical Meili Paper, UPM-Kymmene, Gold East Paper, Suzhou Ziguang, Taiwan ChangChun Synthetic Resin, Boise Cascade, LLC, Agarwal Duplux Board Mills Ltd., Shandong Sun Paper, Guangzhou Paper, Hangzhou Huafeng, Mudanjiang Hengfeng, Hangzhou Xinhua Paper, Dongguan Nine Dragon Paper, Anhui Shanying Paper, Minfeng Specialty Paper, AWA Paper, Kunshan Bill Note Paper, Changyi Specialty Paper, Shanghai Chonglong Paper and Chenming Paper. The exhibition provided an important platform for exhibitors and purchase teams to make purchase and acquire product information.

High Quality Technical Exchanges

Several technical exchanges were held during the exhibition to actively promote the application of various specialty chemicals in downstream sectors. Hot topics in major sectors included the Ciba ®PARTICOL® system – new-generation structured silica retention system by Ciba-Geigy, the scheme for the control of sediments in the modern papermaking system by Hercules, the application of tapioca starch and corn starch in papermaking industry by Corn Products, International and the function and value of kaolin clay in high carbonate coatings by J. M. Huber. Besides, well-known enterprises such as Dow Corning, Ashland and Dow Chemical also held splendid symposiums and new product release meetings. These technical exchanges promoted the intensive and effective exchange and discussion between producers and users.
