China International Hardware Show-Powered by PRACTICAL WORLD will Greet Audience in This Golden October
With 7-year cultivation, China International Hardware Show 2007-Powered by PRACTICAL WORLD (CIHS’07) will take place on Oct.23-25, 2007 with a scale of 90,000 sqm. The show is carefully scheduled to overlap the later half of the Canton Fair, in order to attract more overseas buyers. CIHS07 will be one of the most important global hardware events this year.
According to Ms.Shi Senglan, the Secretary General of China National Hardware Association, since the year 2001 when the show was fixed in Shanghai, it has been attended and praised by global hardware industrial professionals extensively. To achieve maximum integration of resources, and develop the CIHS show into first class world brand exhibition, China National Hardware Association, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce in Hardware, Mechanical and Electrical Industry and Koelnmesse GmbH have began to organize the show jointly since 2006. With common efforts, CIHS’06 exceeded the previous shows in aspects of scale, exhibit quantity and variety, and international level. CIHS’06 attracted 1,600 exhibitors from 16 countries and territories with a gross space of 70,000 sqm, displaying the products from 24 hardware and Bath and Kitchen production bases in China. According to the onsite survey, 85% of the exhibitors think the visitors are very professional, 80% of the exhibitors have established new business contact, and 82% of the overseas visitors are wholesalers and importers. According to the show organizing committee, as CIHS offers products and service covering the entire hardware category, and there are always new products showing up in each CIHS show, more and more global sourcing companies regard CIHS as the 1st stop to purchase Chinese hardware product. By early June, 2301 visitors have pre-registered to visit CIHS’07, including 1001 overseas buyers from 40 countries and territories. Home Depot and Leroy Merlin will continue to visit and source at the show. 50,000 professional visitors are expected to visit the show, including more than 5,000 overseas buyers. Though the CIHS show is still more than 4 months to go, more than 90% of the space has been booked. Many exhibitors regretted that they can’t book more space. The show will also present some overseas pavilions. Beside the pavilions from Germany and Taiwan, the Italian Pavilion will make its debut in the CIHS show. Those overseas exhibitors hope to expand to the Asian market via this Asia’s largest hardware industrial platform. In Shanghai in this October, CIHS’07 will attract the attention of world hardware industry. Also China International Kitchen & Bathroom Appliances Show 2007 (CIKB) will also be held in conjunction with CIHS’07. The show is organized by China National Hardware Association and supported by IHA. It is an exclusive show in China’s kitchen and bathroom industry. The theme of CIKB2007 is Innovation, Energy Saving and Environmental Friendliness. Leading Chinese kitchen and bathroom enterprises such as Haier, Fotile, Robam, Macro, Vanward, Sacon, Dandy, Sakura, Supor and Double Happiness will bring their latest products to the show. The major exhibit includes integrated kitchen equipment, smoke ejector, faucet, shower cabinet, kitchen & bath fittings. During the exhibition, the organizing committee will jointly organize harmonious household and kitchen and bath innovative design forum with All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce in Housing Industry and China Interior Decoration Association, aiming to build a platform for Kitchen and Bath manufacturer, real estate developer and designers, to build closer ties between the concerning industries, to promote the development of decoration industry and policy implementation, and to make contributions to offer consumers a healthy, environmentally friendly and energy saving kitchen and bathroom.
