Hawaii’s unique location and tropical island environment create the perfect conditions for growing Arabica bean coffee. Our trio of Hawaiian Island Estate grown coffees represent the best of Hawaiian coffees. These coffees are selected for the unique growing conditions, superb flavor profiles and meticulous care and handling by the Estate Growers. Only Fancy Grade beans are used, to ensure a premium and rewarding experience in each delicious sip. Fancy Grade beans are larger, fuller more mature beans and represent a very small fraction of each crop. The scarcity of these Fancy Grade beans severely limits their availability.
Our Master Roaster, Alfred Coscina, examines each small batch of coffee beans for maturity, uniformity, acidity and moisture content prior to roasting. Throughout the roasting, he personally extracts and samples the beans from our imported Italian roaster, to ensure the final roast is to our exact specifications. This creates unique batches, which bring together the complex characteristics of the beans to enhance their unique qualities and flavor nuances.
Each pack contains three 12-ounce bags, one bag each of our Fancy Estate Grown Kona, Kauai and Waialua (North Shore, Oahu) beans. Included with each coffee is a Hawaii inspired recipe carefully selected to best suit the individual flavors and characteristics of each variety.
